The TrustIndex.io Review Widget operates under our legitimate interests as permitted by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Section 11(1)(h). This classification is justified because:
- Necessity: Displaying customer feedback is essential for our business credibility and customer trust.
- Minimal Data Processing: Technical data processed (IP address, browser type) is limited to what is required for script execution and display compatibility.
- Low Privacy Impact: No user tracking occurs across sessions; reviewer data is already publicly available on Google.
- Transparency: This processing is fully disclosed in this Cookie Policy and Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
Consent Requirement: Unlike analytics cookies, the TrustIndex widget does not require explicit user consent and will load under the "Essential" setting.
